Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can describe a job, set a budget, and review the work, you can run Elygent — Ely handles everything else. You'll never see a token, an API key, or a config file.
Where does my data live?
In your files. The Brain writes readable pages you can open, edit, export, or delete. We don't keep your knowledge in our database.
Which AI models does it use?
The best model for each task — frontier or open-source — chosen automatically. You manage staff, not vendors. Enterprises can pin an approved list.
What stops an agent from overspending?
Budgets are hard caps enforced by the OS. An agent that reaches its budget stops and reports. Anything irreversible — spending, sending, deleting — waits for your OK.
Does the work stop when I close my laptop?
No — the cloud link keeps scheduled work going and your phone in the loop, so the office is still running when you get back.
When does it launch?
The waitlist is open now. Desktop ships first on Mac and Windows, with the cloud edition close behind. Waitlist members get founding rates first.
